INSTRUCTIONS:
********
Step1: Drill and tap a hole in accordance
with the instructions that are included with
the Perry Pump. The hole should be in the
center of the engine's backplate. Insert the
threaded barb that is included with the Perry
Pump into the tapped hole.
Locate the
tubing that is included with the Perry Pump.
Cut a piece of tubing about 12mm long. Insert
one end over the barb.
Important Reminder Before Proceeding:
Before the epoxy hardens in the next step it
is important that you adjust the inlet / outlet
to face in the direction you desire.
Step 2:
Now slide the Perry Pump into the
MBP-OS-50, allowing it to rest against the
fuel inlet / outlet for now. Using two part
apoxy, apply a small amount around the
Perry Pump's mid-section near the
MBP-OS-50. Now that the apoxy has been
applied you need to push the pump's stem,
located at the oposite end of the fuel inlet /
outlet, into the excess tubing that is on the
threaded barb. You can now slide the
MBP-OS-50 down until it mates with the
backplate using the four (4) stainless steel
screws included with the MBP-OS-50 to
secure the backplate and the MBP-OS-50 to
the engine.
Step 4:
Now your ready for the plumbing.
Refer to the instructions included with the
Perry Pump. Please click on the visual aids
to the right in order to see a more detailed
view of how I have plumbed it. .
